Posledný večer z tohtoročného už štvrtého ročníka world music festivalu HUDBA SVETA ŽILINA www.hudbasvetazilina.sk
prinesie hviezdy balkánskej dychovky!

Fanfare Ciocărlia (Rumunsko) je jedným z najznámejších brass bandov na svete hrajúci živelnú, temperamentnú, balkánsku hudbu. Sú bezpochyby jedným z najvýraznejších zjavov v rámci tohto žánru. Ich virtuozita, energia a kreativita im priniesla fanúšikov od Melbourne po Tokio a tento rok sa predstavia aj publiku v Žiline. Hudobné remeslo formované generáciami sa s hrdosťou učili od svojich otcov a starých otcov. Každý koncert pokladajú za novú výzvu so záväzkom priniesť svojim fanúšikom veľa radosti a zábavy, rovnako ako s ním zdieľať autentický duch stále žijúcej cigánskej hudby.
Ich kreativita, priamočiarosť a otvorenosť s nádychom hudobného šialenstva oslovuje fanúšikov punkovej hudby, náročných odborníkov na jazz, world music, milovníkov ľudovej hudby, ako aj všetkých, ktorí sú jednoducho otvorení dobrej hudbe. Hoci spievajú len rómskym dialektom, ich hudba umožňuje komunikovať a stáva sa zrozumiteľnou po celom svete. Bez ohľadu na miesto koncertov, publikum je nadšené rovnakým spôsobom.

Predkapelou im bude žilinská formácia BALKANSAMBEL spolu s folklórnym súborom Rozsutec a ich spoločným multižánrovým projektom "Len tak"...

The last concert of the 4th year of the world music festival HUDBA SVETA ŽILINA http://www.hudbasvetazilina.sk/en/index.html brings real stars of Balkan brass band music.

Fanfare Ciocărlia (Romania) is one of the most famous brass bands in the world performing unrestrained and lively Balkan music. Undoubtedly, they are one of the most remarkable bands within this musical genre. Their virtuosity, energy and creativity have brought them many fans from Melbourne, Tokio to Vroclav. If speaking about their musical skills, they learned to play from their fathers and grandfathers. Fanfare Ciocărlia perceives each performance as a new challenge together with the commitment to bring a lot of joy and happiness to their audience, as well as to share the authentic spirit of the still living Gypsy music. The members come from Zece Prăjini, a small village located in the northeast of Romania. About 80 Gypsy families live there in harmony with nature and traditional style of agriculture. During the communist era, the village was totally isolated from the outside world. Maybe that it is why the tradition of brass band is still alive and accompanying each wedding and funeral.
Their creativity, directness and openness along with the touch of musical insane appeal to punk music fans, demanding jazz experts, world music lovers, folk music lovers, and to all who are simply open to a good music. Even though they sing only in the Romanian dialect, their music allows them to communicate and it becomes
comprehensible for the entire world. No matter where they play, the audience is always enthusiastic.

The band BALKANSAMBEL with the folklor ensemble Rozsutec and their joint multi-gen project "Just So" will be the starting point for them ...
