Podobný nádych má šou kapely Kim and The Created. Extravagantná frontwoman Kim House má drive už spomínanej Cherie Cury a pohyby, za ktoré by sa nemusel hanbiť ani Iggy Pop. Drsný vokál, podporený nekompromisným garage punkom, je zárukou, že na túto kapelu sa bude vo Fuge ešte veľmi dlho spomínať.

Trojica chalanov z Nového mesta nad Váhom sú možno jedinou skupinou na Slovensku, ktorá vie ako má garage punk znieť a vyzerať. Ich nový album Candyland sa neodvratne blíži a my budeme dúfať, že nám z neho dajú ochutnať. Jedno je však isté a to že sa môžme tešiť na kvalitnú show.

Kim and the Created’s live performance is nothing short of a full-blown exorcism. Remember that amazing scene in The Runaways where teenage Cherie Cury lip-synchs to David Bowie in full Ziggy make-up at her high school talent show, truly giving no fucks whatsoever? There’s a moment where she looks out above the audience totally possessed by the sheer abandonment of reality and complete immersion into a glam rock alter-ego. This is what it’s like to watch Kim House of Kim and the Created. Decked out in her signature catsuit, the toweringly tall blonde knows how to work a crowd. She thrashes around on the lip of the stage grasping at her hair and making faces as a backing band behind her transforms four-note bass-parts into a captivating garage punk recital along the lines of her beloved Shannon and the Clams or even The Cramps. Three-piece band from Nove Mesto nad Vahom is probably the only true garage punk band in Slovakia. Their upcoming album “Candyland” is soon to be released and we can look forward to the great show with a load of shakin’ hits!

VOODOO BEATS SOUNDSYSTEM will of course take care of pre/after party with their vinyl collections, full of punk, garage, rock’n’roll and trash staff!
